Welcome Snow!

The above picture was taken from the second story Tasting Room window and is a great panorama of the recently pruned vines asleep in the cold snowy winter weather. We received about 3 inches of snow out of this last storm which is very welcome moisture. The Talent Irrigation District reservoirs are filling up to about 20% as of yesterday – much ahead of the last 2 years. We hope it continues so that we will have adequate water to ripen the grapes properly during the hot summer months ahead.

Tawny’s First Snow

Our Golden Retriever “puppy”, Tawny, was out checking out snow for the first time Wednesday morning early and learned to chase snowballs and eat snow.

This week with another storm forecast to come in on Saturday night, we elected to take advantage of the window between storms today and schedule music and pizza tonight (Friday night) but to forgo the music on Sunday.

We will be open for tasting and purchase on Sunday, however, for those that would like to come out and enjoy wine and snacks while watching the winter weather outside. We scheduled Jon Galfano for tonight (Friday night) for your enjoyment and entertainment, so it will be a rocking good night.

Also we have three remaining wines that are almost sold out and are listed here, so don’t miss a chance to taste them and get some of the few remaining bottles to enjoy at home.

We hope to see you in the tasting room with family and friends this weekend enjoying the wine, music and outside “winter weather” scenes.
