Sequoia Duo

Sequoia is an Oregon-based bluegrass duo made up of Allen and Deborah Brinkerhoff, known for their warm sound and engaging blend of original songs and well-loved covers. Together, they create a rich musical experience: Al brings his skill on the dobro, banjo, and viola caipira, in addition to contributing vocals, while Deb compliments him with her guitar work and harmonies. Al is especially recognized in the bluegrass community, having earned notable accolades such as the Oregon State Dobro Championship and a win at the prestigious Rockygrass Dobro Contest.

The duo performs regularly at events across the state, sharing their music at venues like the Eagleview Pickout and the Canyonville Farmers Market, where their lively sets have helped them build a loyal regional following.
