New Releases and Vertical Tasting

As we say goodbye to older vintages we are pleased to move on to new releases of those wines. This week, we are releasing two of our most popular wines the 2020 Grenache Rosé and the 2017 Cabernet Franc. In addition to the release of the Cabernet Franc, we are breaking out older vintages of the Cab Franc for tasting and purchase.

2020 Grenache Rosé – 2024 SF Chronicle Wine Comp – Silver

Our 2020 Grenache Rosé follows in the same style as previous vintages low skin contact to produce a more complex, dry rosé wine that is versatile and can be enjoyed with many types of foods from spicy to rich. The 2020 rosé has a wonderful pale reddish pink color with floral aromas and strawberry and cherry flavors. The wine has a full mouthfeel with good balance and a long finish.

2017 Cabernet Franc – 2023 SF Chronicle Wine Comp – Silver

Our 2017 vintage of Cabernet Franc displays all of the characteristics that make Pebblestone Franc a crowd favorite. It begins with deep earthy aromas of berry and dark cherry followed by a rich mouthfeel and flavors of raspberry and cherry and finishes with a long balanced finish.

Vertical Tasting Of Cabernet Franc

Beginning Friday (2-16-24) and lasting through the weekend, we are selecting three vintages from our library of Cabernet Franc wines. These tastings are fun to do because they demonstrate the differences in wines due to weather during the vintage and the changes to wine as they age in the bottle. All three of the vintages are available for tasting and purchase.

The tasting is free to wine club and $10 for non wine club members.
