A Heatwave!
Well, last week, we asked for heat. And this week someone flipped the switch! Low 80s today and tomorrow peaking Friday at 92 degrees, then 84 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. The buds are swelling rapidly and we should see budbreak before the weekend is over. This is about 1 week later than last year and 2 weeks behind normal.
With the beautiful weather forecast for this weekend we will definitely hold our music events outside. We have some great performers this week. We have more talented performers lined up to entertain on Friday and Sunday nights: Jared Gutridge on TGI Friday night, and on Sunday, the Shine On Trio brings their mellow Americana music. Our April wine sale ends on Sunday, so act fast if you want to take advantage of a great deal on summer wine. Mixed cases of the two sale wines are ok.
