Nick Garrett-Powell

Nick Garrett-Powell is a an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, recording engineer and talented performer from Southern Oregon. Nick is a classically trained musician, with a broad repertoire that includes pop, blues, gypsy jazz, rock, reggae, jazz standards, acoustic fingerstyle, tapping and slapping and more.

Nick performs as a looping musician, whereby his songs are recorded in layers live before the audience, with rhythm, bass, leads, percussion all played on the guitar. As an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and “stunt guitarist,” Nick’s solo show includes tenor vocals, mandolin, melodica, jaw harp, and a heaping serving of acoustic guitar.
