Beginning Friday, December 15th, the December Wine Club Release is available for pickup by members. And this is a great time to try and buy your wine for the holiday season at 20% off retail prices. We have some great wines for members to pick up and enjoy with their friends and families. The wines are as follows:
Whites Only Members
We have chosen two top white wines that will find a place in any holiday meal:
2020 Viognier – Recently awarded a Gold Medal and rated 90 points by Savor NW, the 2020 Viognier carries on the tradition and reputation of highly awarded Pebblestone Viognier vintages. Produced and aged in 100% stainless steel, the 2020 vintage is well balanced with complex aromas and favors of citrus, stone fruit and apple. It has a lush mouthfeel and a dry, crisp, lingering finish and pairs well with many dinner entrées.
2020 Late harvest Pinot Gris – Made from exceptional fruit that was left on the vine until it reached 27 brix, the emerging wine is exceptional as well This wine is a luxurious white dessert wine with aromas of spice and citrus and flavors of tangerine and ginger. It pairs well with spice (or pumpkin) bread and fruit pies.
Reds Only and Assorted Members
For members that have chosen Reds only or assorted wine in their pickup, we are pre-releasing two really great wines to wine club members:
2017 Melange – Melange, as you all know, is our Bordeaux Blend which we have consistently made since our founding in 2004. The 2017 vintage comes from a moderately warm El Nino growing season and consists of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec. It is medium bodied with a lush expression of favors and aromas. With its deep garnet color, black cherry and raspberry favors, complex tannins and a lingering finish, this wine is enjoyable now and will continue to improve for the next 8 to 10 years.
2017 Syrah – Syrah is another mainstay of our wine production since 2005. Our 2017 Syrah is a classic example of a cool climate Syrah with a deep violet color, aromas of violets and black pepper, and bacon. It has a silky mouth feel, rich a rich blend of flavors from blackberry and black currant, well-integrated oak and savory, earthy minerality. It has a long, balanced finish, is enjoyable now and will continue to improve for the next five to seven years.
