2022 White Malbec
White Malbec wines were first created in Argentina about 12 years ago to celebrate the versatility of the Malbec grape. This is the first vintage produced by Pebblestone to create a novel wine for the region. We created our White Malbec in the style developed in Argentina by harvesting the grapes earlier in the season at a lower Brix and higher acidity. The harvested grapes were picked in the early morning hours and then immediately whole cluster pressed off the skins so as to pick up minimal color. The resulting juice is settled and then cold fermented in stainless tanks to preserve fresh fruit flavors and aromas. The resulting wine has aromas of white peach, grapefruit, cherry and strawberries, with a refreshing acidity and medium body.

2019 Grenache Red
When we first planted our Grenache block, our main motivation in growing Grenache on our site was to use the fruit to make a delicate, aromatic Rose. As the vines grew and matured we found that we had more than we needed for the Rose program. In 2018, we made a small first vintage from the additional available fruit. We were delighted with the results and the wine was very well accepted. As a red wine, Grenache from our fruit makes a slightlyy lighter style wine much like Pinot Noir. However, in contrast to Pinot Noir and other red wines, Grenache has softer tannins and juicy fruit with moderate acidity, The 2019 Grenache exhibits these characteristics with great balance and texture and is a versitile wine that pairs with many foods ranging from seafood to spicy.

This Silver Medal winning wine is drinking so well right now. Our 2016 Syrah is a classic example of a cool climate Syrah with a deep violet color, aromas of violets and black pepper. It was aged for 18 months in 100% French oak and has a silky mouth feel, rich flavors of blackberry and black currant, well-integrated oak, and a long, balanced finish.
