…of Rain and Cold Ahead
The reservoirs continue to fill and the long range forecast is for La Niña conditions to weaken to neutral. So there is sunlight at the end of this tunnel of rain and we will soon be complaining about the heat. But for the next two weeks or so we will likely still need to hold our music inside the warm and dry tasting room hall.
We think we are still about two weeks or so away from budbreak which is the official start of the 2023 growing season. Buds on the vines are starting to swell but the cool weather could slow down the bud break.
We have some great performers in the tasting room this weekend. On Friday night, it will be the very talented duo of Scholer and Ragland playing Jazz and Blues. On Sunday, another very talented duo, Skye and Lee, will be providing a variety of music from jazz to bossa nova. See Events for more details on the performers. With the weather continuing to be cool and wet, we will continue to hold the music inside the Tasting Room hall until the weather warms and clears up.
On the wine front, we have released new vintages for your enjoyment and purchase. See the latest Wine News for more details.
We hope to see you in the tasting room with family and friends this weekend enjoying the wine, music inside while viewing outside “winter/spring weather” scenes.
