Spring has Sprung! But…

More Rain and Cold Ahead

Spring arrived with a bluster last week bringing more rain for the valleys and snow in the mountains. This continued moisture is great for our water supply in the mountain lakes, as well as ground water in our fields. Emigrant lake is now over 34% full and Howard Prairie and Hyatt are close to 20% full – still a ways to go, but encouraging.

There is a lot happening at the tasting room this week with music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We have a great lineup of performers with JustaDuo on TGIFriday night and Sonido Allegre on Sunday. On Saturday, the Ukulele players converge on the tasting room for a Play/Sing-a-Long. See below for more details on the performers. Again, with the weather continuing to be cool and wet, we will continue to hold the music inside the Tasting Room hall until the weather warms and clears up.

On the wine front, we are continuing to release new vintages this week for your enjoyment and purchase. See Wine News for more details.

We hope to see you in the tasting room with family and friends this weekend enjoying the wine, music and outside “winter/spring weather” scenes.
