Our 2018 Malbec is block selected and is a beautiful wine with a deep, dark purple color and excellent body. The flavors and aromas of blackberries and blueberries are captivativating and the long smooth finish leaves you wanting more. Our elevation and wide diurnal temperature fluction enable our wines to retain acidity which adds to the balance and ageability of the wine. This wine is enjoyable now and will continue to improve for the next eight to ten years.
Ellis Vineyards is located in the middle of an ancient riverbed, abundant with pebblestones. This rocky, well-drained soil and the sunny Southern Oregon Rogue Valley climate, create ideal growing conditions that concentrate flavors and aromas in our grapes and wines.
