Known for their tight two-part vocal harmonies and a refreshingly authentic sound\, The Valley Duo delivers music the old-school way—without computer-generated backing tracks or drum machines—just pure voices and acoustic charm. \nLaura was born in Waukegan\, Illinois\, and grew up surrounded by music. Her father was a drummer and vocalist in a swing band\, her mother played piano\, and her siblings sang and played guitar—so it was only natural that harmonizing became second nature to her. Over the years\, Laura has lent her voice to community choirs\, barbershop quartets\, and gospel groups\, including two decades as a member of Kirby Shaw’s Community Choir. \nScott found his musical inspiration in the 1960s\, learning guitar as bands like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones shaped the soundtrack of a generation.
