DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Jam! The Ukulele Jam is happening again! The Ukulele Jam is gaining in popularity now and is usually attended by 25 to 30 or more ukulele players strumming and singing through a number of popular songs and enjoyed by an growing audience of fans. \nThey are great to watch but you can also sing along while enjoying a glass or bottle of wine. Local ukulele instructor Tish McFadden will again lead the jam. \nIf the weather is cooperative\, the Jam will be held outside on the tasting room deck; spectators are welcome to enjoy the Jam from our lawn area seating. \nSongbooks are available. DESCRIPTION:Femme Fatale is Carla Bauer and Kathryn Crystal-Maitas. Carla is a native South African who has lived in the US for 26 years; Kathryn is from Chicago. They are both self-taught and don’t read music – we play by ear and perform an eclectic mix of tunes from the 60’s through to the present day. \nCarla sings\, plays guitar (including bass guitar) and keyboard. Kathryn sings and plays guitar and banjo. We both dabble in a bit of percussion too! Carla has a few originals which they sometimes play. They plan on co-writing more originals in the near future. But most of all\, they play for the sheer delight of sharing our favorite music with the crowd! \nWe’re thrilled to welcome Carla and Kathryn back—they bring an electric energy to the stage every single time and know exactly how to turn a great evening into a full-on celebration.
