DESCRIPTION:The Ukulele Jam is happening again this Saturday inside the tasting room due to cool weather conditions. \nThe Ukulele jam is usually always well attended by 20 or more ukulele players strumming and singing through a number of popular songs. \nThey are great to watch but you can also sing along while enjoying a glass or bottle of wine. Powers and Fellman have previously played together in one of the valley’s first “Django” bands\, and Bob Rawlings is a multi-instrumentalist who has played with just about every musical group in the valley\, from jazz to bluegrass to symphony. \nLinda Powers is a skilled violinist\, guitarist\, and vocalist\, while Dan Fellman is a master of lead jazz guitar\, and Bob Rawlings brings his expertise in bass and vocals to the group. Together\, they create a dynamic sound that blends swing and swing jazz tunes\, from Django compositions and vintage jazz ballads to up-tempo songs like the swing music of “Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks.”
