He started his passionate journey into music when he learned to play drums at age 10 in a little rock band with some friends. He began playing guitar at 13 and the flute at age 16. After moving to South Carolina\, he began to write original songs and performed at coffee houses in the 70’s. Shybo has continued his musical career in the Rogue Valley for many years and has been well known for his baritone voice and broad range of songs.

DESCRIPTION:David Pinsky and Phil Newton have been a major part of the Southern Oregon Blues scene for over thirty years and have joined forces as an acoustic/electric duo. Longtime friends\, they began this new chapter by playing local venues and concerts discovering the joy of sharing their music on a whole different level. \nDavid’s propulsive guitar\, welded with Phil’s harmonica chops\, provide a steady groove reminiscent of the 60’s Chicago style duets. The two on occasion will also employ a twin harp attack. Both David and Phil bring decades of vocal experience\, with David concentrating on his original compositions and Phil interpreting Blues and roots.

DESCRIPTION:Joshua Paul as born and raised in Southern Oregon began playing music at the age of four. Joshua graduated from college with a degree in chemistry\, and began a career in a cataract research lab at OHSU.  He then spent ten years teaching chemistry\, among other science subjects\, at a few high schools in the Rogue Valley. \nIn his mid-twenties he became a part of the “Use Your Gift Foundation\,” a generous organization that pays for the recording of an album for young up-and-coming songwriters/performers. \nSince then he has performing full time and has also recorded several songs with local producer Jeff Pevar\, as well as Bredice Studios in Los Angeles. Joshua performs a broad blend of Americana\, rock\, country\, and blues numbers at local wineries\, bars\, and retirement communities.

DESCRIPTION:The Ukelele Jam will be happening this Saturday on the outside deck. It is forecast to be a beautiful afternoon with temperatures in the mid 80s and a very low chance of rain. The Ukulele jam is usually always well attended by 20 or more ukulele players strumming and singing through a number of popular songs. They are great to watch but you can also sing along while enjoying a glass or bottle of wine. Local ukulele instructor Tish McFadden will again lead the jam. \nSongbooks are available.
